TOR and FLA decline

Why? Theathletic ranked Byram as a better prospect then Lundell, and FLA needs a LDH and Colorado needs a 2C

Florida has to at least consider that trade. They are so thin on defence.

Leafs on the other hand do not even entertain that idea.

TOR declines. And I think both FL and COL decline the other trade. Sure it meets needs but I’d bet both teams would just say they like their guy too much to deal him.

Lundell > Byram. No way Florida deals him, did you watch him play last season? The guy fit seamlessly into the NHL. Bryam is a great prospect, no doubt about that. But no team is going to trade an elite two-way young player who can already put up a 55 (projected) point season and has a much higher ceiling than that

Did you watch the SCF? Byram isn't a prospect anymore. He led both teams in 5v5 TOI and completely neutralised Kucherov while posting the best 5v5 xGF% of all Dmen despite having the toughest assignments.

The only thing that should give Florida pause is Byram's concussion history, otherwise this would be a good trade for them.

I like the Fla trade but Leafs aren’t letting go of Sandin. Lol especially not for a 3rd.

It is an embarrassment of riches either way for Colorado although making the trade might make their goaltending a little more susceptible.

Fair, he's not a prospect. But Lundell is special too, and I don't think it would be wise at all for them to move him for Byram, as good as Byram will be
