Either Blackwood is a dud and CHI would be better off elsewhere or Blackwood bounces back and Devils say not a chance.

Why would LA give you Cal Peterson for a 5th round pick?

That’s like LA giving you a 7th round Pick for Jake McCabe.

I have the same feeling about Phillippe Myers . If he plays well enough people want him TB can't afford to loose him if he doesn't there isn't a team that'll give TB a duffel bag full of pucks for him.

Why? Murphy is a very good Rd. Vancouver has none . Schenn sucks. Poolman sucks Myers sucks

Murphy has concussion issues, Wouldn't say Myers and Schenn suck, Just over played right now Murphy like them also isn't a top paring D on a playoff team, Much better options out there for the price of a 1st

Sorry Luke Schenn is an oak tree who sucks I was extremely thankful TB didn't offer him a contract. Murphy would be a perfect compliment to Hughes IMO

Schenn is a perfectly capable 3rd paring Dman He didn't look out of place with Hughes it would just be nice to upgrade on him, Murphy Is to old and has to much of injury history for us to take the gamble of trading a 1st round pick for him, Many better Defense man on the market that wouldn't cost to much more that would be a better use of picks imho

Murphy is 29 Schenn 32 but Schenn is fine and Murphy is too old ?!that makes less than NO SENSE!!! In fact less than a month into the season Schenn turns 33 ,but Murphy who turns 30 in March compared to schenn 33 in November 🙄. Please explain that in a logical manner? Math clearly isn't your strong suit

We aren't giving up a 1st for Luke Schenn? That's the issue with age, if we got Murphy on a reasonable contract as a ufa sure I might be more interested. But for me there isn't a a big enough in defenseive skill and age for between Murphy and Schenn to justify giving up a 1st for Murphy ideally Murphy is an ideal 2nd paring guy compared to Schenn where is more suited for the 3rd pair. Let's also stick to talking instead of personal digs please

Schenn is at best a 7th defenseman. He's a pylon on skates. Murphy would by far be Vancouver's best RD

He's better than Myers poolman or schenn am I missing someone on the right side? Or are you trying to tell me I didn't see enough of Schenn for 2 year to know he completely sucks?

I mean the fact that he has played more games as Canuck then he did with Tampa i am guessing it's option #2, Schenn is a better fit with Hughes than Myers, Overall Myers is the better Dman, Schenn is miles better than Poolman, Like i said Schenn is a fine 3rd paring guy, i just rather spend the 1st on someone better and younger than Murphy

I mean Schenn played in over %50 of the 2020 Run for Tampa, He was never a minus, I am sure him sitting 50% of the time Doesn't help him statistically, He was fine in Vancouver this year did his Job Was tough and stayed back and played good defense to allow Hughes to play a rover style of game. Like i said good 3rd paring guy have zero complaints about him

He wasn't a minus in 20 playoffs because TB has the best goalie in the world and pretty much no one was a minus ... He played because of injuries to Rutta and Bogosian and that there says it all he was behind Rutta and Bogosian. We're not talking Dennis Potvin and Nick Lindstrom in those 2

How do you go 50 years without a Stanley Cup? Guess I can ask a rangers fan that too.

3 -0 in 25 less years. Let me guess you're going to pull the cry of the loser 18 mil over. Thank Vancouver for allowing them to be able to do so . TB Proposed a payroll for the playoffs in 15 ,but Vancouver and everyone else except St.Louis voted against it. So TB was that's the way the games played Hold my bud light we got championships to win something Vancouver knows NOTHING about!! 14 teams were over the cap so stop that is truly a he cry of the loser. 30 they were under the cap it was harder one to win in the bubble you try spending 67 days away from your family.

Murphy arguably played his best when he was CHI's top pairing defensemen. He seemed to slump quite a bit after CHI acquired Jones and relegated Murphy to the second pairing for the 21-22 season. I think his medical issues this past season were overblown on purpose so that CHI brass could see more of their defense prospects. But that is all conjecture.

I don't see why CHI would want Price, but I think MTL declines because Price will still stay with the team (Travel, Locker room). They'll want to keep the off ice leadership
