Buying and selling TDL

Created by: Jah1722
Team: 2022-23 Anaheim Ducks
Initial Creation Date: Sep. 16, 2022
Published: Sep. 18, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
If the ducks are in a WC spot near the TDL they buy and sell. *OPTIMISTIC I KNOW lol*

NJD trade: training camp trade, allows Boqvist to play for NJD gives them a 7th D that can play both sides some cap space. Ducks move a player that’s in a position battle for 3LD.

NSH: Preds get vet help. Shattenkirk is an upgrade on Boro and Lauzon and could become 2PP QB. Grant produced well last season, does it again and production wise is an upgrade on Trenin. 3rd might be too much but TDL prices are usually high.

COL: Tatar has solid season and COL adds cheap depth scorer for a prospect that has some pros and cons in his game.

CBJ: Peeke is a defense only D that ANA could use. If Jones returns from injury and has a solid season, CBJ gets a solid 3rd liner and a pick. With Jiricek coming and Ceulemans in the system could be a decent idea.

DAL: Gurianov has been in and out of the doghouse in DAL. Solid goal scorer but has his flaws. DAL gets RD prospect which is shallow and a decent pick.

In the small chance Peeke is available, you get outbid in a second.

There's too many variables here that require things to break a specific way for me to believe this can happen.

Maybe cut everything involving Tartar and it has the possibility of working with some adjustments.

Yes predicting the season and what happens at the TDL has variables. Taking cap for mahura on a player you might be able to deal later might end up being the best thing as I don’t see him making the team so there’s a decent possibility he gets claimed off waivers based on cap hit and age.

Colorado like forwards who can play a two-way game suited for the playoffs. Which isn't what Tatar is known for (quite the opposite in fact).

Jersey does not need a 7th D.. Graves, Hamilton, Seigenthaler, Severson, Marino in the top 6. Smith, Ohotiyuk, Bahl, Walsh, Nemec fight for spots 6 and 7.

Dallas passes. New coach, better system, better structure.
Guri should be able to find his game under Deboer. I wouldnt be suprised if he is pushing a 30+ goal pace on the season come deadline.
His time under Bowness wasnt a complete waste, his stats balanced out somewhat as he was forced to pass more often. Some times he would pass too much and cost himself scoring chances tho. Bowness rags on weaknesses where Deboer will play him to his strengths.

Things the Jackets need: steadiness at RD.
Things the Jackets absolutely do not need in any form whatsoever: depth forwards of any kind.
