You can’t be serious putting the Bruins 7th. No chance they’re behind Buffalo or Detroit, and then not likely they finish behind Ottawa either

No matter where I think the teams are gonna end up, I do like your bold predictions!
This might be somewhat biased, but I do however think that everyone I've seen do predictions so far underestimates the Jets.
I don't think they'll win their division or anything, but I definitely think they're going to end up ahead of the Stars, and fairly likely the Wild aswell.

I've learned to never doubt the capitals in the regular season. You should too!

I’m pretty sure they will have a rough start for the first couple of months, with the teams ahead having a better start and maintaining the lead. So I didn’t underrate the Bruins, their injuries will drag them down.

If the Stars don’t sign Robertson by the start of the season, I would probably say Winnipeg finishes ahead of the Stars, but still fall short on Minnesota. I’m just not sold on a coaching change being able to completely fillip the script.

Same reason the Bruins fell in my rankings apply to the Capitals as well. Injuries will drag them down with a bad start as well. Not to mention the teams ahead improving more in the off-season than the Caps.

I'm kind of with you on that, I don't believe that the coachning change is gonna turn the Jets into a legit contender. I do think that last season was a lowpoint though and that they should be better this year.
Regarding the Wild, I think that the loss of Fiala is going to hurt them, I also believe that many players on the Wild somewhat over performed last season.

I think you're on to something when it comes to the Caps, and the Devils/Sens/Blue Jackets/Red wings should all be a great deal better this season.

No Marchand, McAvoy and Grzelcyk for awhile, So he's hardly underrated them.

Bowness should fix the defence but what will be do with the offence?

I am kind of expecting the offense to dry up a little, much like what happened with Benn and Seguin. Kind of fix one problem, but at the cost of another problem. The Jets have a team that can compete, but they just have to find that balance, and they can go far. Until they find that balance, I still see them in a too good to tank, but not good enough to truly compete category.
