Matt Boldy is an entirely unnecessary luxury who imposes an unrealistic 20-man roster, alienates one of our familiar trade partners, and doesn't really fit our future lineup. And if Max Comtois regains his form, he may not even be our best LW. Plus, he probably prevents us from paying full value for MacKenzie Weegar (because I don't think $6.75 million from us is going to do it).

Assuming Pastrnak is signed, best line combos would probably be Comtois - Zegras - Terry, McTavish - Bedard - Pastrnak, Vatrano - Lundestrom - Strome.

Oh lord would I love that top 9! Gaucher I think has a good chance to bump Lundy down even

you guys have 7-8 teams that will fall behind you in the standings. not a chance your getting Bedard guys
and signing a bunch is expensive FA doesn’t fit your plan IMO.
best to have another solid draft or two and continue to build from within. your team was better than last year, and will be improved this year for sure.
      just be patient

How does Bedard still get drafted if you've given up the 2023 1st for Boldy?

Probably assumes Body holds out and can get OS after the draft but that can't be demonstrated on cap friendly and he didn't bother to write a description.

Can’t imagine Anaheim will be worse than Chicago, Montreal, Philly and Arizona.

My money is already on Bedard being gifted to Chicago.
