I have a feeling Steinburg turns into a player. Good social connections, big, plays tough, solid college scorer. Avs will need cheap players like him the next few years.

I agree. After a PPG season in college and one more year before turning pro I'm curious to see how he develops. He could be a perfect bottom 6 forward in a couple of years. RHS, plays C or wing, plays all situations, plays a big oldschool style, and is a character guy apparently.

He's an Ivy league nerd. Nerds aren't tough /s. I hope he's the IRL version of Melvin Eugene Punymier.. but less lethal.

Yeah COL isn’t doing that, they aren’t sentimental about bringing in local kids.

They did draft Behrens and gave Clurman an ELC tho lol

But yeah I doubt they'd trade for a guy just because of that
