Description

Look, I don’t think they make the playoffs, but they’re still being underrated. They dealt with sooo many injuries and a terrible coach. Hart actually had a sort of bounce back year. Risto as your 1 RD and like Laughton as your 1C (which I believe was the case for a while), you’re not going anywhere. I believe farabee was out for a while too. This team is not much different from the 2019-20 team, apart from Giroux sure, a huge loss. Torts is a rude and old school coach sure, but he knows how to whip underperforming teams into place. Again, I don’t think they make the playoffs, but team has some talent to be more competitive than most think. Lemme know what y’all think

I agree, I dont see a chance that we make playoffs but we aren't finishing bottom 5

But they have a delusional GM so that’s problematic and the Gordon Ramsey of Hockey taking over a team of 19-21 year olds what could possibly go wrong with that?

They’re still the worst team in the Metro, but I agree they aren’t really that bad. There are easily six other teams worse on paper but most are in the West. Torts is best at dragging mediocre teams well past their talent levels, but all that’s going to do is hurt Philly’s chances at a better draft pick.

Yeah, unfortunately we're in a division with Carolina, New York (x2), Washington, and Pittsburgh, with NJ and Columbus both looking like they improved. Hopefully we can be competitive, proud to watch them play, make it hard on most teams, but in the end still be there for the Bedard sweepstakes. It ain't happening, but we really don't have much going for us. I am just finally excited to see the young kids play and hopefully stick. We need to see what we have on the roster and I think a guy like Torts will do a good job weeding that out. Who knows, maybe in a year or two we'll be ready to fully compete, turnarounds like that have happened before.
