He obviously needed a change of scenery from LA, I'm just saying that if he didn't, he'd have more consistent offensive numbers due to not having to move his family and all the other off-ice logistics that go with moving teams

Every year of his career he has started the season on the same team as he ended the previous seasons so this logistics isn't nearly as drastic as you are making it . It affected him 1year during the year.

Except for the 2018-19 season where he started the season with LA, went to Pittsburgh for a few games, and was then traded for a THIRD time from Pittsburgh to Vancouver, the team whom he finished the season with

You base your argument on theory by your own admission. Mine has been based on Facts and numbers .

Those facts and numbers are of the past, they can be used to project and speculate what the player will do in the future, nothing more. My theories are no less valid than the facts and numbers you laid out

He ended the 17/18 season in LA ENDED 18/19 IN Van started 19/20 in Van so other than 1 year he's not had that issue as I said it was all mid season he probably had his kids finish school in Pittsburgh then come to Vancouver after the school year. So yes one year he had some logistics

You have nothing but feelings to base yours on. Trends are trends for a reason. Which is my more logical based.

Didn't think people could argue this much about Tanner Pearson... He is a solid third line player who can play up and down the lineup in case of injuries. Good for around 30-40 points a season. Not much to be said

Some other fanbases for whatever reason believe that Pearson is only a 20 point player or less, it's real man. They just see that he doesn't play a skill game and assume that he doesn't put up points, which is frustratingly short-sighted

Facts are he isn't the "perennial 40 PPS" player claimed is consistently inconsistent and NOT WORTH THE THIRD WANTED! You may feel he's going to put up more points however there are no logical or statistical facts to back your argument. The trend recently has been awful season average season awful season average season this is is on the awful season trend .

No Your theories are not anywhere near as valid . Your theories have nothing to back them up other than it's what you think. His past is a lot more predictive than your I think this will happen especially considering what you claim hasn't happened. He's just going to start producing beyond his past production at age 30 come on now stop pissing on my boots and telling me it raining.
His career he's a 38/82 guy who has 1time in his career posted better than 40/82 in b2b seasons . All of a sudden age 30 he's going to start being more consistent and producing better than he has throughout his career is a GIANT F***ING LEAP OF FAITH THATS UNJUSTIFIED!

If you're just going to get angry like that, it proves that you don't utilize these forums with good intentions. There are many other players whom have had inconsistent early halves of their careers but people like to project what their ceiling likely is going forward. I never said Pearson was going to improve on his previous career highs, just be more consistent. Geezus

Hockey wouldn't be any fun without being able to theorize, it's people like you who make the sport less enjoyable

Most guy don't put up their career best seasons after age 30. Ohh so objectively looking at something instead of just going with completely unbacked theories makes me less fun? . So you can't logically debate my points so you fall back to your no fun. If someone doesn't agree with you they're illogical and no fun got it.

Using stats to point out trends isn't twisting anything . it's a much better predictor than I feel this is going to happen it called trend analysis. It's a lot more accurate than going on someone's "theories" that have nothing to back them up. How often do players start consistently producing their best years at age thirty? Very rarely thats what your "theory"says is going to happen

I'll repeat myself just one more time, I never said Pearson was going to hit a new career high at age 30, I just said that he's likely got at least another couple of 35-40 point seasons in him before he loses as step. Not the same thing as what you accuse me of proclaiming

No you said he was a perennial 40 point player which generally means he's doing it continuously. He is not and has never been that

He was doing so with a slight dip at one point. It's not like his career has been up and down offensively
