Good first frame for the Bruins despite being down 1-0. MVP of the period is probably Beecher in my opinion. He had a great aggressiveness to him, used his frame and his speed to make some good plays. Was effective in all three zones.

That line of Merkulov-Beecher-Lauko looks great. Needs to be used in the AHL this year for at least a little while.

Frederic Brunet also is worth mentioning for Boston after that period. Had a couple of nice plays in the defensive end and was able to carry the puck out the zone effectively which is nice to see

Hate that there’s no Bruins announcers for the game. They couldn’t get some intern to talk about Boston for a couple of hours?
