The Rangers are't giving the first round pick they got for a future top 4 or maybe top 30 D in the league

Kane is worth a lot but even with an extension he's not worth that much... Maybe if he was 5 or 6 years younger

Even that seems Abit Rich to me...he's a great player but kakko shouldn't even be considered here imo

If Kane extends , then othmann,1st, Schneider, and a bottom 6 nhler would be good but don't touch kakko...he's going to be a top line player if he gets the chance.

Personally, if there's an extension, I'd rather throw Kakko in cause I feel Schneider is going to be an anchor on that blueline for years.

I suppose they do have more forward depth then defense, Schneider looks to be a good one forsure.

Yeah, even as a Hawks fan, there's no way Kane gets this much. He's still a rental, at the end of the day.
