Is Brannstrom waiver except? No
Is he the same age as Lundqvist? No
Does he have a similar contract? No.
Is he right handed at least? No.

Not to mention that there is a certain "je ne sais quoi" (unknown) with Lundqvist. Every year Brannstrom doesn't become a stud in the NHL is another year we know he won't ever be. There is much less to go on with Lundqvist which is tantalizing to think about.
