The Minny trade doesn't work
To simplify it...
Dumba for Sam, that works
Scandella for a 2 & 3, probably not enough
U can't include Ennis in this deal...
Not only does his play, injuries & contracts make him not very tradable, but Minny would have to protect him. And as it is, they already have issues up front with protecting guys.
Add in someone like Fasching, and maybe take Pominville's contract off their hands...
that could make the deal work

Not enough for Anisimov imo
They'd probably want a guy like Bailey, Carrier or Baptiste who's about NHLready & won't have to protect
Also... would he waive to come here?

Interesting idea with the Philly trade
Hadn't really considered them a possible trading partner, so I really can't say they'd go for it or not
But it seems fairly reasonable if they want Kane
And that would give us 2 strong defensive centers

Philly has no interest in Kane or anyone else with off-ice issues. Also don't see Coots being traded anywhere.
