I appreciate the outside the box thinking, but I'm not sure the Wright-Chytil blockbuster makes a ton of sense for either side.
Seattle just drafted Wright and from everything we've seen are insanely high on him. Chytil doesn't quite have the same ceiling and I think the Kraken would rather have Wright who has the best chance to be an elite cornerstone out of all the assets listed, even though the package is appealing.
I think if the Rangers are going to use Chytil and their two first round picks, it'll be for a more established player (or players) who can help them compete for the Cup now and in the near future. Even though by all accounts Wright is NHL ready, it's still going to take him a season or two to really come into his own, and the Rangers are looking to win now.
