Gardiner cannot be bought out, he's going to sit on LTIR for the year it looks like

Value in the STL trade favors St Louis a little. Barbashev's year looks like a firm one off.

Not enough for Chychrun retained. I'd argue it isn't enough for Chychrun straight up.

Kotkaniemi cannot play on the wing, Barbashev isn't a top 6 center traditionally

Blues say no
Bear holds almost no value to them and takes up 2 mil in cap which they can’t afford
But take him out ands it’s a lot closer

thats an easy yes from the Blues imo. I think Barbashev is the first person traded no matter what the record is if the Blues need to upgrade. This is really good value for someone I don't see the Blues being able to afford next year

yeah they can. with Scandella on LTIR and Barbashev gone that frees up 6 mil in cap space. Bear and Fast are a combined 4.2 mil

I doubt it, 6 months is end of march beginning of April and Hip surgery is a hard recovery
