Hopefully Chevy is leaving the open space on the roster because they believe a few rookies will step into those spots. I’d feel a lot better if we signed or traded for a couple of guys though

Lambert isn’t ready for nhl in my opinion. His offence is, but his decision making and play away from the puck aren’t good enough. He will get eaten alive in the nhl in my opinion. He’s better off spending the year in the AHL in my opinion.

Lucius needs to get back up to hockey speed. He’s spent too much time out with injury. I think he at least starts in the A, then works his way up like perfetti.

Agreed. Samberg is the only prospect here that should make the NHL. DO NOT RUSH Lambert, he will be deadly, but let him hone his craft in the AHL or in a Euro league for a year or two

Lambert is best playing in the WHL, he did well at the rookie camp but last year he sucked in the men’s league and got bench at the world juniors.

He is undisciplined, selfish, doesn't defend, turns over the puck.
Watch him play in KHL after a few years struggling to make it into nhl.
And I am saying this as a fellow finn.... Had high hopes for him, but they somehow managed to ruin him.

That’s what I’m hoping, throwing him into the WHL to grow up might be suited

D pairs should be:

JoMo- DeMelo
Heinola-Pionk
Samberg-Schmidt

Dillon and Stanley should be traded for a conditional pick and other assets.

I do agree with you. I feel like everytime he plays with younger players, he does well. But with men, that's where he struggles. I think one year in the WHL then another year in the AHL. Then he can make the NHL.

For Lucius I think he could get a nine-game trial then spend the rest of the year in the AHL so that his contract doesn't get eaten.

Another guy that should be in here is Gustafsson. He will really help out our penalty kill, which was bad last year. Lowry should get 3C and Gus will get 4C. Also Barron should get top six minutes as the 2RW. He did really well while with Schiefele.

I’m not sure Euro is best for him, just cause you also need to manage his confidence and another pro team focused on winning won’t do that, whereas the ahl will have a his development first model more than others

I’m assuming you are council perfetti as a regular already and not a prospect. And I would also say heinola should make the team, but someone needs to go first

Yes I'd say Perfetti is a lock to make the team and that's well deserved. Heinola is good enough for the NHL imo, but another year in the A could really benefit him too.
