      Cap space is more important to teams that taking on non value players with pretty meaningless picks as a sweetener.

      Armia played really well in the World Championships but Detroit doesn't have a roster spot open where he could repeat that performance therefore he has to be considered a pure cap dump. A three year contract of his size will cost you three 2nd round picks if you want Detroit to take him.

      Not a bad trade for Dallas. I dont see Jim taking Norlinder in the deal. Maybe Dobby for a 3rd. But wouldnt be upset if this were the deal to go through
