Over his last 37 games last year Jesse Puljujarvi had 4 goals, 9 assists for 13 pts, I doubt many teams would give up a 3rd, 4th and 7th for his services.
Over his career he has averaged 0.18 g/gm and 0.38 pts/gm while Alex Nylander drafted the same year is considered a bust career stats are 0.15 g.gm, and 00.38 pt/gm.
Buffalo has many prospects and other options for RW this year and will not be trading draft picks.

Puljujarvi is worth more than that. People like the poster above like to point out his lousy production in the final half of the season without acknowledging that he was struggling with long-COVID and several lower body injuries during that stretch. You'll also notice there's no mention of the beginning of the season when a healthy Puljujarvi posted 10 goals and 23 points in his first 28 games either.

However, in spite of the illness and injuries and production woes later in the season, Puljujarvi still was top-5 in the entire league for on-ice impact over the entire season. He made every single player better around him, and he's only $3M.

He arguably does more to help the team win than any forward not named Connor or Leon, you just don't trade that away for useless picks.
