DAL declines. With Turcotte's injury concerns there's little to nothing interesting/worthwhile enough to consider moving Robertson.

Dallas declines, Robertson will come in between $8,000,000 to $9,000,000 per long term.

Nothing in that trade has high enough value. People on this site seem to think you can get top players and keep the pieces you don’t want to trade. It doesn’t work that way

It's because some can't differentiate trading a 23 y/o like Robertson and a 30 y/o for example. This is because they have very little ability to project into the future.

Jason Robertson is at PEAK value right now and it would take quality pieces to acquire him.

Dallas have to find a way to keep him

Benn and Seguin contracts are really hurting. Could they just sign him one year for 6.0 M$ then break the bank next season? Pavelski and Khudobin contracts expire...

He isn’t going anywhere. They’re negotiating. Wish he was signed and participating in camp, but it is what it is. I don’t think there’s any issues as far as the team player relationship is concerned. We have the money to sign him for 7 million for 3 years if we send Dobby to the AHL. If his agent is looking for more than that, Nill has plenty of comparable contracts to point at. I’m hoping Nill is looking into moving some money out to get him signed for more term
