suppose you could add Samoskevich or the 2023 2nd in the Arizona trade, but I do think that Knight on his own could pay for Chychrun and 3 years of max retention.

Florida needs a goaltender who can steal games for them a lot more than Chychrun.

I think overall the trade is a good deal for the Ducks but I don’t know if they want to use one of our retention slots for under 500k when we may be trading and retaining guys like Klingberg Shattenkirk possibly Henrique

If we have it and don’t need to retain a 3rd guy sure then we can get a pick maybe for another goalie dump or just have Dostal come up to backup
