WPG isn't hurting for cap space so I'm not sure this trade benefits them too much...I'd be happy to move Dillon though for a top 9 forward! Perhaps Donskoi who has an identical cap hit?

While I agree, I don't think Schmidt is the guy we should be moving. I'd move out Dillon and Stanley first.

If the Jets are trading both of these guys they should be able to get something a lot better than an AHL plug and a 5th.

Almost 6 million in cap for 3 more years isn't cheap to get rid of with trade protection I agree Dillon and Stanley should go

Sure but should still be worth better then that, dmen always have some decent value.

The deal for Eberle isn't bad, but I don't see the point of it for Boston either. They'd be adding about $1.6 million to the cap (something they already don't have) and getting a marginal upgrade on Craig Smith. This while also offering up 2 prospects and a 3rd.
