He was 4th on the Coyotes in PK TOI, behind Mayo, Stralman, and Lyubushkin. Compare that to an elite two-way guy like Doughty who leads the Kings in PK TOI every season.

I imagine some of that may be health-related though too. He defensive fancy stats are respectable.

I think a lot of his value does come from his team-friendly contract. If he were $6m/year, I doubt we would seem some of these types of returns.

To me, Turcotte makes some sense for Arizona. Add Spence or similar dman, and a pick.

We’ve gotta see these young guys play now,
bc we have more good young talent coming behind them

Moore profiles as more of a bottom six type player, where as a lot of Buffalo's key prospects project as more top six type guys. I don't see there being a significant amount of interference

We already have bottom6 guys at the moment
Girgensons & Okposo wear an “A” for us
And Asplund might just be our best defensive forward

The other 9 slots will lol be used for young, offensively talented forwards
