Outside of Jason Robertson, It's basically garbage for Seth Jones, Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane. Most of it is a bunch of worthless scraps.

Honest question what do you think Chicago get for Toews by himself?

Hawks just traded away debrincat. They have no interest in Robertson. Picks and prospects. Not young stars and cap dumps.

DAL trading away their 2023 1st round pick probably means Kane isn't an option for them anymore. I disagree with other CHI fans on this one, though. I think Robertson coming back to CHI in a Kane trade would be more than welcome. He is still super young, they can easily afford him and they are going to need some larger contracts to hit the cap floor over the next few years. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if DeBrincat hits UFA status next summer and CHI attempts to bring him back. I have heard unsubstantiated rumors that the reason CHI traded him to OTT in the first place and got so little is because he seemed to be dead set on testing free agency and was not willing to talk about extensions with any teams. In which case, I think CHI would be more interested in guys like Johnston, Bourque, and Stankoven. All of that being said, this trade is a mess. haha.

I agree and heard the same rumor that Cat wants to test free agency unless he really enjoys playing and living in Ottawa which is why he hasn't talked seriously to the Sens about an extension. This is also why he trade value wasn't great, basically the Hawks got fair value for a 1 year rental.
