Driedger is out for the year with a torn ACL, So Arizona passes.

And Kyle Davidson isn't retaining $12,000,000 on Seth Jones for 8 years. Especially not for a bunch of scraps.

Not retaining 8 years on Jones and not selling now on him at this point. We paid too much to acquire him but that's a sunk cost at this point. Jones still played like a 1D last year and is 27. He will still be in his prime in 5 years when the hawks are trying to contend again (although the back end of his prime). If someone wants to pay at least 85% of what we gave for Jones and Jones will waive his NMC then fine, trade him. But I don't see that happening
