Way too much for Schmaltz, Stankoven and Bourque are absolutely not being included in a package for him. Both players are much more valuable to Dallas than Schmaltz would ever be.

Schmaltz is the player you hope Stan n Borque turn out to be, a top line forward under a nice contract

Next year they bring up Stankoven and Bourque instead of trading them this year.

If theres a big trade that needs to be made, it will be done at the deadline. And I doubt this would be it.
Wait and see what the new coaching can do with this roster before trading away future talent.

This is terrible. You don’t trade prospects like Bourque and Stankoven for second line players like Schmaltz. Stick pick to Faksa and play Stankoven at 2RW and this team is just as good and still has all its futures
