Description
For this game they didn't win but it doesn't really matter. Dubois, DeMelo, Appleton didn't do much but it being the first game they arent going to go 100%, they are simply getting into the rhythm. Perfetti, Harkins and Toninato should make the team as bottom pairing guys. For me, Stanley and Gus are 50/50, Stnaley has a lot of competition and I'm not sure exactly how Gus fits in, if he makes the team he will be a 4th line center.

Stanley has really fallen in the depth chart and his play has done nothing but show giveaways and dumb penalties rather heinola than him

He was awful lol, surely will be an extra PB guy. I thought Perfetti looked good, he should get a real opportunity for the year in the top 6. Gustafsson also probably makes the team as the 4th line C.

I'm not gonna take too much of a pre-season game against a mostly non NHL lineup but I thought that Maenelanen guy and Capobianco played well, could see that Finn on the 3rd or 4th line, he skates well and has good size, hope to see him against a more NHL lineup in one of these pre-season games before the season starts.

Pretty sure the forward lines are already set, its just a question of who's the 13th forward and if they go with two dmen as the other healthy scratches.

I bet once the dust settles if there's no injuries in camp/pre-season the lines will be:
Connor-Scheifele-Ehlers
Perfetti-Dubois-Wheeler
Harkins-Lowry-Appleton
Toninato-Gus-Gagner

Agree with you on all of that. I would put Samberg or Heinola as the 6th d-man unless the Jets go with 7D.

EDIT: I actually want Gawanke to get some NHL minutes. Every time he had the puck, good things happened.

Gawanke will be lost on waivers. Sad.

There’s such a log jam on D it is what it is. Time jets were going to a rebuild they’ll already have new D prospects.

I've also noticed that Stanley doesn't use his size despite being 6'7''.
