Valimaki can't really bounce back since he has done nothing. He should be under breakout

Connor Hellebuyck and Jeff Petry could very well be here too
Edit: Jason zucker too.

Personal bias aside, pens have multiple bounce back candidates which I think could be big for us

My thoughts:
Laine was good last season, he was just injured for a good part of the season.
Oshie was alright and he too missed a large chunk of the season.
Jesse P was great in the first half, but struggled in the 2nd half. If he isn't playing with McDavid/Draisaitl I have a hard time believing he'll bounce back.
Pettersson wasn't great in the first half, but he was phenomenal in the second half.
Doughty was pretty good, he just missed more the half the season + the playoffs.
I highly doubt Zaitsev or Risto bounces back.
It's possible for Toews and Benn to bounce back but I see their point production continue to drop.

Being on this list is not meant to be an insult...

Injury means bounce back (staying healthy is also a skill)

Makes sense ig, bounce back candidates imo are usually players that did poorly in the prior season.

I would argue Necas over Bear, but can understand why you picked Bear. Bear was playing really well when he was healthy, but Covid and a fractured ankle killed his season. Necas on the other hand, regressed somewhat from the 2020-21 season. That being said, Necas could be used on bounce back and breakout lists.

I'm not seeing a ppg season as something Laine or almost any player has to "bounce back" from.
