holmberg has barely experience in NA hockey, hes gonna be the marlies 1st line center if anything, that 3rd line would get bullied hard by any team who has a physical bottom 6, engvall in the top 6 isnt ideal either but he could fit i guess, gio isnt a RD, and he sure as hell shouldnt be playing with rielly, sandin isnt taking 1.2m or hed be signed by now

giordano literally talked about moving to the right side on media day. Sandin literally doesnt have a choice if he wants to play, and all 3 of those guys on the third line are hovering around 200 pounds, malgin and nylander are both shredded.

i dint see gio post that but thats good ig, and wow, engvall and holl are huge and both soft asf, malgin is 5"9 170 , nylander refused to go in the corners during the playoffs, that would be the weakest 3rd line in history fo the leafs

im pretty sure malgin came into camp at 187, regardless hes a lean 180+ go to his instagram the guys in great shape. and engvall and holl are great examples , size means nothing. Also that nylander play is so over exaggerated, he didnt really have a reason to go and get crushed by 240 pound cernak

send a guy like jeanot, hathaway, or reaves against them and they do nothing but get bullied, anyways keefe likes his 3rd line to be solid defensively and play a checking-grinding game, thats def not it

if Jeannot reaves or hathaway were on the ice they would be puck chasing, please put those guys on the ice. this is a 3A/3B situation, the 3B line would serve that purpose.

if that was actually true the leafs would be winning in the playoffs, but everytime it gets physical they freeze and start choking, dubas has finally built a reliable .defensive team with that plays with size, i promise you our lines will look nothing like that. this year might actually be different for once

they lost this year because of two phantom high sticking calls and a bull**** penalty call which should have been a goal. they had tampa beat in every aspect last year.

and interference being called on the leafs when cirreli bumped into holl. i watch every single year, every game, this series was actually extremely close with no choking, but if ur really observant youd see how the leafs have no response to the physical side of the game, its extremely painful to watch them just pass off the puck in a rush bc they are scared of getting hit, i really doubt this will be the case this year tho, we might be the ones pulling that off on other teams ZAR-kampf-engvall ( simmonds-gaudette-ABK is what i expect our bottom 6 to look like, malgin is gonna stick around and replace simmonds when we dont play a huge, physical team where we might need someone to fight ( in my opinion ) and like i said keefe really likes his 3rd line to be the checking line, so i doubt he changes his idealogy of running a full talent 3rd line

kerfoot is def gone, he makes too much $, and jarnkrok is a better scorer, better center, and offers the same defensive skill... only thing kerfoot wins at is speed, i think kerfoot is gone and sadly the return will probably be a third unless injuries happen and someone is real desperate

its a possibility , i think malgin gets a look with nylander , all depends on how long engvalls out for

think i saw a report saying hed be ready for the first game of the year, i could be wrong tho, if he really is out, bump up ABK, slide in malgin on the 4th with gaudette and simmonds , and yes i saw the chemistry between him and willy, but i firmly believe in my heart willy is ok with jt they just need the right winger and thats jarnkrok

Doubt a Cap strapped Toronto gets a 2nd for Kerfoot. I’d love him in Winnipeg to help with their M6 scoring but it’s obvious that Cap space is king right now. Most GMs are waiting to see who gets waived as cap casualties
