I don't see the Jets retaining on him for 3 more years and paying to do so. Also at 4M I'm sure they would get a few teams calling about him.

This deal doesnt make sense for the jets. Getting two plugs, giving up a 2nd AND retaining for 3 years?? Terrible asset management IMO

Cap don't matter to det yet... Next yr cap goes u 1m then the new report said in 23-24 the cap is tied to revenue i believe so likely looking at a jump to high 80s low 90sM cap . many saying in 3 years (wjen Larkin Bert seider Raymond) deals are affecting it..cap sip be 90s - maybe 100m ceiling plus yzerman is elite cap mgr.. Dead money coming off & buyouts minimized (Abby) .. We're fine cap wise

that 4 m can be spent ina better way, like going after a guy like horvat. placing copp and his wing, gives u a way deeper roster than adding a top 4 dmen with term

..and Horvat isn't leaving Vancouver most likely so stop with that stuff
Nope.. Wings need depth on RHD .. Most of our kid depth in gr is LHD.... Schmidt can play both he's still prime not too old & Stevie likes vets to help the kids along.. The D will fluctuate next 2-3 years til kids are ready every day national leaguers...

Stick to your Loafs.. I mean leafs.. Ha.. Or Stevie will heist knies from y'all just for cap space..lol

I might be a fan of the leafs but I pay attention to the whole league. Winnipeg needs that dmen if they intend in contending, and I promise you there’s better ways to spend that money, but hey you’re entitled to your opinion and so am I.

Agreed ..entitled..no.. A right.. Yes..lol.. No one's entitled .. But neber said it would happen i just how yzerman likes his roster ..& i guarantee I know the league the same or more than you too.. Of course peg wants good players but I was going off the all summer hearsay they wanted to dump him for any decent return.. & no-one knows which direction peg is going yet.. Mgmt seems to be stuck in neutral..
