Benn won't play over Sandin that's for sure

there's no chance sandin takes 950 grand when he refused 1.4 for 2 years at the draft. gonna need to pay him minimum 1.8 to even get his attention. leafs need to make a trade (most likely) or send a couple guys down which they'll lose on waivers cause its the leafs

Also gotta remember that no team issued him an offer sheet that he signed. Sandin has zero leverage as an RFA, under 90 NHL games, and was offered his QO for 1 year that's less than that number.

The comparable players like Anderson, Liljegren, and Durzi all got less money than 1.8 and so will he (barring a major trade).
