I'm a fan of pitlick and what he was able to do last season for us but there's a reason we got him off waivers as a 24 year old, and he's better than armia especially when you factor in contract, but if gallagher and drouin are healthy they are top 6 fowards Pitlick is middle 6 at best, and debatable if hes better than slaf right now but I would wager he is not by the end of this season at the latest

Zero chance Slaf starts the season up without a trade.

You meant Drouin-Dach-Anderson and Pitlick-Evans-Armia

If he keeps bouncing guys off like this, he will make the team. He's winning every puck battle and has been positionally sound. He'll be a streaky goal scorer but just like Anderson, they need his size on this roster!

Matheson has been impressive! This team will be alot better than last season. They just need to have some health luck. PP was bottom of the league and will be better though we say that every year! The defence cant be worse and if Allen stays healthy then they'll be respectable around 80 pts.

Pitlick would probably be put on waivers before they send down Slafkovksy. Byron isnt close to healthy after failing his physical. Slaf is going to make this team!

So hyped. Richard has a better camp than Slaf but nobody thinks he's going to make the team. The truth is that both are not NHL level.

It would be bad asset management, bad top prospect development and bad for next year's draft.

I dont think scoring goals is something that ppl should worry about. He looks like he belongs. The hype would only hurt him as a number 1 pick with unrealistic expectations. I didnt want him and prefered Nemec and Wright. He looks the part of an NHL'r as most 1st overall have trouble with the defensive assignments especially coming from overseas competition. He hasnt been caught out of position, dont see why they'd put him down over a waiver wire guy like Pitlick that no one wanted to sign in the offseason
