Sandin and Hague are a 1 for 1 since neither are signing with their current team (as of now) Kerfoot slots in nicely in Vegas top 9 and with their LTIR situation they have cap. Leafs get a physical 4th liner back and some cap space

Hague signs the Lily contract.

How do you figure that? They are both young and have shown similar at the NHL level. Both good young players. Sandin is a VERY good young player (as is Hague).

Hague has played more, played better, and it doesn’t hurt that he’s 6’7”. Tool kit is better, performance has been better and more established. I would think he’s worth 2x sandin both in contract and trade value.

doesnt help sandin plays for the leafs
