Description

Could it be more clear after yesterday's game that we have seen more than enough of Mike Hoffman?

I love what HuGo is doing. The players he is bringing in are all consistently excellent skaters. They have lots of qualities, good and bad, but man can these guys Skate.

Matheson - OMFG did you see him? How could you miss him for 25+ min?
Beck, Dach, Slafkovsky, Harris, Mesar, Richard were all quick on their skates
Barron (admittedly not his best game but skating was excellent)

You can really see the vision coming together of a speedy team who tires out the opponent. Can't wait to see 20 guys on the bench who all have the HuGo stamp of approval.

Matheson was literally flying on the ice. Pleasantly surprised, but I'm afraid he'll be over-used during the season given the current state of the d-core.

Not sure what to make of that. I do believe Slafkovsky will surpass Engvall over the next 8 years... but Engvall is the better player today!
