All the people involved are gone with the bad blood there, however, OTT doesn't need Hoffman, because he wouldn't crack the top 6 in OTT anymore.

Also that Ryan Donato Contract is WAY undervalued, he is likely gonna be in Seattle's top 6 this year and looking to have a break-out year, he is a lot better than most people think, just needed to mature.

Once again, the Ben Chairot trade comes back around. Big dmen are always an over valued commodity around TDL, so the reasoning remains that if he is better than Chairot he can get a first from a team

I get the OP was saying "team doesn't matter", but it's really poor context to put teams that are barely even playoff bubble teams thinking they give up these picks. If you expect to be trading away a bottom 5 pick in the 1st round, then you may press, but no way should any team simply with an outside chance of fighting for a playoff spot or even a middle team put on such a risk.

just looking to see what the team would look like, didn't really care about the other teams in this scenario. They were a means to an end

There are big physical players that aren't worth a first traded for one just about every year. Savard, Chairot, Foligno are just a few examples but until I actually see GMs learn that lesson I'm going to keep expecting it to happen
