“Not trying to troll post”….trades Lysell for Ritchie and 2nd. 🤣

Boston let Ritchie walk because he sucks and they did not want him. Imagine trading their best prospect for him. 🙄

Lysell is not untouchable but it’s close. They did offer him for Chycrun last year. A young center might get their interest. Beyond that. Nope. He will be a regular next year. If not sooner.

Not trying to troll, but you think Minnesota will give up a two top 1st round prospect, top for a player they didn't need. Bait more though.

I think those Wild and Bruins trades are pretty far off.

Even if Gostisbehere has a good year, 2 former 1st round picks who haven't decreased their stock at all plus a 2nd is quite an overpay.

Judging by Boston fans they are extremely high on Lysell, and he's one of the few good prospects they have in their system right now. Can't see them trading him for a bottom 6 rental and a 2nd.

Ottawa isn't giving up Pinto and 2x 1st rd picks. MAYBE JBD, a 1st and a 2nd, but the asking price here is WAY too high

You're not getting a Chychrun level return for Gostisbehere lol

Especially from a team that doesn't need him

So True, the Price is way way too high, first your getting one first, not two and it will be protected. Second Freidman said on 32 and Sportsnet broadcast that OTT is not giving up Pinto and they really shouldn't.

The other ask was also for Grieg and OTT said no to that, realistically to get it done you're looking at maybe Boucher or Javentie if you want a forward, which seems to be the ask. Now you could throw in Formenton as well, sign and trade at this point with Motte and Kastilic showing well early in the preseason.

Crazy values all over here:

-Minnesota just *gave away* a perfectly serviceable Dmitry Kulikov for free because they have too many LDs on their roster. It doesn't make any sense to trade for another, and that's before you get to the fact that you have the Wild giving up their first round picks from 2021 & 2022 and a 2nd this year. Easy pass for Minny.

-Chych needs to prove that the bubble season where he looked like a Norris contender isn't an outlier at this point - otherwise he's a fine LD1/2 on a fair contract, not a superstar on a bargain deal. If he gets back to that level, maybe Ottawa parts with Pinto/1st/3rd, but the extra 1st and 2nd is overkill. Chych hasn't proven he's worth a superstar payment yet.

-You'd be permanently on Mike Grier's Christmas card list if you did him this favor. Even if we forget Vlasic's NMC, he's still owed 4x$7M (with $27M in real money owed still!) and is 35 years old. Look at the cap dumps Arizona took back in the recent past - Andrew Ladd, for instance, looked just as washed as Vlasic and was only owed 2x$5.5M - the Coyotes got a pair of 2nds & a conditional 3rd for him. San Jose parts with *at least* at 1st if they're trying to dump Vlasic's contract.

-Sure? I'll defer to Kings fans but if Bjugstad & Fischer play well, I could see a deal like this playing out. Probably would do better to ship them each out individually and try and get a player & a mid-rounder back, but to each their own.

-Pump the brakes here. Boston doesn't have a ton of sure shot prospects, but Lysell is probably at the top of the heap. I cannot see them, in any situation, trading him for Nick friggin' Ritchie. I don't think Ritchie's a bum or anything, but he's clearly a 30 point player. You don't trade guys like Lysell for bottom-6 guys like Ritchie. Boston easily passes on this one.

-I think Arizona would say no on this Penguins trade - Josh Brown & Mark Friedman are probably equal in value (both 6th/7th RHD), but Chad Ruhwedel is a 32 year old RHD signed 2x$800K - he's not really an asset that Arizona should be targeting if they're liquidating their useful players. Travis Boyd popped off last year, turning into a decent middle-6 player. His deal is very affordable for a middle-6 guy, which is why I think you get more than this package back if you're shopping him. Not saying it's gonna be a 1st++ coming back for him, but I think a mid-tier prospect & a 3rd rounder is a fair value for him.

Take out the bruins top prospect, and its still a no. That’s how horrid that trade is from the boston side.

It doesn't look like Ottawa would be interested in doing Pinto for Chychrun

What makes you think they would add TWO firsts and a 2nd? lol
