Vegas needs Lehner cap on Ltir to make their cap work for this year.

There's no way VGK can take on another big contract like that! They literally gave away Paches for nothing.

This is a bit half-assed. Who's retaining what and for how much? That's pretty much the only thing that matters in a hypothetical Bobrovsky trade.

    You’re missing Lundell, a ‘26 1st, and Zito’s first born child.

And that’s maybe just for the brokering team.

Beat me to it. FLA would need to retain 50% which I highly doubt they do unless Vegas gives them a lot more.

    2023-24 UFA goalies

Nedjjlkovic, Jarry, Andersen, Talbot, Reimer, Quick, Samsonov, Allen, Varlamov, and Korpisalo are all available, why trade assets for an overpaid goalie?

Those picks to Arizona gets you maybe a Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese's worth of salary retainment.

I don't think Knight getting a relatively high contract indicates Bobrovsky is out the door. It's a lot to commit for your tandem but both can be starter quality and it's a way of trying to make up for the lackluster blueline.

I doubt Florida attempts to move Bobrovsky (if they even do) before the cap rises significantly.
