I agree, could get a depth RHD for cheaper that plays in emergencies and pocket the added value. Walsh gets pushed over by Nemec next year.

Hit the nail in the head. Walsh is just too low in the RHD depth chart, and with Smith able to play both sides, he has lefties and Fitz's love of big defensemen to fight against to be a callup

Monahan might be an interesting investment if the price weren't too high. Retain one third and give us the 2024 Colorado second and we might roll those dice.
