Two bad moves with no return. Greer is a career AHLer, everyone needs to calm down about a couple solid pre-season games.

Wouldn't even say a couple pre-season games as Greer played 9 minutes against PHI and was pretty meh. I do think Greer breaks camp with the team just looking at the current situation, but ya folks need to pump the breaks a little bit.

Maybe 4th line, doubt Greer can play on the 3rd but agreed about Frederic. Foligno doesn't fit with Studnicka and Steen.

What do you think Frederic and Nosek would return? I don't think either team accept the trades anyways, they already have plenty of forwards of similar level of play. Regarding Greer, I agree it's still early but he could end up winning a spot and staying up for a while even if he'll likely spend most of his career in the AHL.

Nosek is good. Don’t move him.

Frederic has another gear. We see it from time to time. Weird that everyone is losing their mind over a few good shifts in a pre-season game but completely forget that frederic has made a significant impact against actual NHL teams in the past. I think both are worth more to Boston than whatever they would get for them in trade, which honestly might look something like these trades seen here.

Yeah maybe they give greer a look but I'd think they waive foligno long before they more frederic for nothing.

I'm fine with keeping Nosek but completely disagree about Frederic. He has been in the lineup for two years regularly and has barely shown any improvement. Fringe 4th liner with almost no offense to offer, what is that "another gear"? There was a time where he was (slightly) better but Coyle and Smith did most of the job on that line. Otherwise, pretty much nothing other than killing offense on most shifts in two years. What "significant impact" has he made in the past?
