Description

Id like to see glass actually get a legitimate shot with duchene and forsberg. Hes a big bodied playmaker and duchene/forsberg can help him make the nhl transition.

Other benefits, lets the team spread out the rest of the skill and vet leadership.

I could go with that as well. Parssinen has really impressed in camp and overseas. If we can get glass between forsberg and duchene and spread out the center talent i think the team would be stronger overall. Another option is to let parssinen center tolvanen and granlund if the herd cant be separated

Honestly theres no telling what we will do next off-season. Under these lines glass could have a massive year and want big money as well. Add in fabbro, carrier, and jeannot .... something will have to give

that's why I was asking what his value is along with what his next contract could look like

If he repeats last years performance....
I would wager somewhere in the 3.5 - 4.0 mil range. Not sure nashville would chose to trade him but we dont lack large physical prospects so he might be more expendable than our young dmen and center.

In terms of prospects, we are covered with wings. We could use a recently drafte(~19 years old) LHD with high upside or center with true top line potential (though if glass breaks out this season thats no longer necessary).

1st are always good as well.

Realistic cost would be either a high end prospect and a lesser pick or a 1st and a lesser prospect. My emotional attachment says we should get more but realistically this is what they would typically get. Might get a little bit more because hes a rfa

Honestly havent been impressed in the preseason so far. McCarron im more familiar with because hes been with the team for a while. Sherwood blew up the ahl last season and has looked good in the preseason as well. Really just going off the preseason so far
