What is the criteria for "best skater" is it the fastest or most agile or what? Caufield is not the best skater on the Habs in any regard, Drouin is faster and more agile, Anderson and Byron are faster as well.

I think people are confusing this for skating ability and instead it might be a ranking of best skaters meaning the best player thats not a goalie

Yanni Gourde is quite easily the best skater on the Kraken. Bura could contend for that as well.

I'm wondering what your criteria is? Are you looking at agility? Speed? Edgework? Transitions? Or some unholy combination of all of those?

The player that is the biggest game changer, whether it is defensively or offensively, or both.
