Why would Florida downgrade in net and give up a young star for a guy who hasn’t done anything?

Why would Detroit take on that $10 million cap hit? Bob hasn't been worth that cap hit since he's played in Florida. This is actually bad for Detroit and will screw them out of future signings like: Larkin, Bert, Raymond, Seider, Vrana. No thanks you'd have to add a ton more for me to like this trade.

This is an absolute no deal for either team
1 Bob isn't waiving for Detroit over South Florida.
2 Florida isn't giving up Lundell .
3 Detroit isn't taking the cap.
