Huge no from Winnipeg. They went out of their way at the draft to see if he would come over after his contract is up in the K and has looked unbelievable since. Zero chance they give up him AND picks to help out a team in cap trouble

Honestly I didn't know much about him and never hear about him. Just come across him and he seemed interesting. Given the lack of talk I thought he may be more available. Nevermind then

Sandin appears to have his spot. Rielly is practicing on the right side.

Perhaps. Or perhaps not. Either way you seemed convinced he wasn't going to sign for unclear reasons

He wasn't going to sign without a roster spot on the Left side. His words not mine.

So all it took was Rielly practicing on the right side? Come on bro lol You seem way smarter than that.

No I think what it took was for the leafs to bend a bit to help Sandin's development.

Sandin's signing had nothing to do with Rielly practicing on the right. But Rielly practicing on the right may have had a lot to do with Sandin's signing.

Sandin sees a path for his development due to injuries. Leafs seem willing to keep him on the left. I've always said Sandin signs 1.4 x 2 the minute Muzzin is gone.

This was never about money.
