Somebody will pick up Reilly and Nosek off waivers and you lose them for nothing! Also, McLaughlin slots in instead of Lauko (who isn't a right winger) and listing 3 injured players as scratches would get somebody fired, ridiculed and tarred and feathered!!

It cost the Bruins no assets to sign them in FA. It's inconsequential if they lose them off waivers for no assets.

They were both terrible signings who were paid about twice as much as they or equivalent players should have been signed for. You don't lose them for nothing, you lose them for 4.75M in cap space which has great value.

Placing Reilly on waivers is a really bad move especially with Marchand, McAvoy and Grzelcyk out. Good luck if someone is unavailable with $19K in cap space.

They should of been but under IR yes but that don't save there cap space McLaughlin slots in and there over cap he more money then Lauko . Only way to save cap is LTIR and Sweeny said he is not doing that so there got to be a reason why not maybe they will not be out long enough ?

Losing Nosek wouldn’t be so bad, but since Boston gave up a third for Reilly it would be nice to get something back. I hope they keep him AND Forbort, use LTIR and trade one or both of them (and maybe Nosek too) around mid November. Reilly is looking good so far and feeling good post surgery.
