Do you see Krebs as a near-term 2C, and able to take over the same role as Cozens?

No. We can't afford to trade cozens at this point. I'm not a Thompson fan, but he and cozens are likely middle 6 centers on a good team. Other than that, Lotta questions. Krebs looks like he is committed to two-way hockey (advanced stats don't back that up yet, based on last year, but it's a work in progress). Krebs has soft hands and is really looking to set up most of the time, doesn't look like he's gonna be much of a finisher. We trade cozens, we get our heads kicked in. That's a bad look if you are moving your first. That's tanking for Dallas.
