I wouldn’t see this making much a difference in terms of overall team results and team structure, though Chychrun is a different kind of defenseman. What would be very important helpful though is that if Chychrun could play on our top pk unit. Then no need for Forbort thus more oppurtunity for guys like Reilly and even Zboril to open up more offense.

Probably true. Still better than Jost. Jost has proven he does not have enough offense for a top 9 role and not the type of game for 4th line. He’s a waste of space. At least Foligno will hit 200 people and drop the gloves.

Id pass rather easily on that trade if I’m Boston. As a stand-alone move it does not get them under the cap, they give draft capital, and they downgrade for a guy they likely place on waivers. No thanks. 1 for 1 no retention I’d think about it. Just for cap purposes. But it’s still a bad trade.
