Calgary would have no interest in Harris and wouldn't trade either Ruzicka or Kylington for pending UFA Dadanov. Jusso Valimaki for Dadanov 50% retained and a pick maybe.

While I understand the addition of a good RHD I don't see why mtl would trade a good prospect D-man who they just sign this summer.

Like you I think that Dadonov with % retain with a little something could be use to obtain the RHD man that MTL looking for.

But at some time there some prospect that still could play Right side even if they are left handed. There some defensemen that have make a really good impression in the preseason game like Xhekaj, Trudeau, Ghule, Byrron, Harris.

Last year schueneman have been adequate as the third pair d-man that could also be an option to play.

Simply for a Better More Experienced LD who can also play RD

Guhle's very good but they all need time in the AHL imo

Adequate is probably fine for now I guess, but MTL can still be bringing in other good young players and both Kylington & Ruzicka are exactly that

Maybe Jan Mysak instead to play with Klapka. Valimaki seems like a pretty light offer

A young pending RFA vs an old pending UFA.

Fair Point. Although Dadonov has proven he can put up 0.85-1.00PPG+ Per Game and that’s when he was playing with Florida/Huberdeau…

Dadonov has never put up 1.0 PPG in the NHL. His career average is only 0.64 PPG, he's old declining and hasn't even hit that the last 2 years. His final year in Florida he only had 0.68 PPG too.
