Can’t see why Winnipeg would do that

Jets decline.

1. Killorn is a solid top six player but, he’s now 33 (turning 34). He’s not getting any younger.
2. Foote is a solid, young, though, strong top 4 d-man. I don’t expect Tampa to trade him IMO.
3. Two prospects that don’t have a lot of upside.
4. A first and a 2nd won’t cut it. The first will be in the top 5. 28-29-30-31-32.

Let’s just remember how good Connor is. He’s a top 15 player on the planet right now.

The Jets easily declining aside.
TB would be so salary cap screwed next year.
They would have 16 players and $2,111,130 in cap space good luck icing a team.

Definitely not top 15 player on the planet but this is still a poor offer for one of the most elite goal scorers.

You were doing so well until the last line. I agree Connor is underrated, but he's not that good.

This is a pretty piss-poor offer for Connor, the Jets aren't selling him off like DeBrincat. It probably takes at least a couple A-Level prospects and multiple firsts, more if you're including any dumps.
