Muzzin will veto trades to non-playoff teams.

After watching Clark play this preseason he isn't for sale, Knies looks great but we are hoping Clark is our future Drew Doughty.

Okposo is getting the C this year and probably a cushy front office job next year. Buffalo won't move him.

The Kings have a deep prospect pool but are thin on players that can potentially be cornerstone franchise players. Clarke is one of 2 potential stars and he might have greater upside than Byfield. If Toronto wants him, only making Matthews or Marner available gets discussions going. No way anyone else on Toronto moves the needle.

With this being your team, come playoff time they will be physically dominated and out in the first round. You need grit in the playoffs, 2 d-men and 4 forwards. All skilled players works great in the regular season not in the playoffs. This has been the leafs achilleas heel for the past 5 years.

Muzzin contract isn't getting traded without adding a little some something....and why would he waive his NTC to go to arizona ?

    LA with a quick no

Philly will save only 1.5M with that trade so IDK...

And Buffalo would laugh at that.

But most importantly you have a 21 men roater with 217$ dollars in cap space and even less defense depth...
