not a bad option, but I have a feeling sharks keep Dell and deal Reimer at the TDL… but with Mann and Makiniemi both looking legit I would totally be ok moving Dell now and Reimer at the deadline

If Georgiev or Francouz gets hurt they will just call up JoJo, no point in trading resources for a guy that wouldn’t do anything.

They aren’t going to carry him on the roster because they want to accrue space, the AHL team is just up the road and they have Annunen who is waiver exempt. So yeah not worth it.

Arizona claimed JoJo on waivers yesterday unfortunately, hence this proposal for a replacement no.3/4 goalie.

Also, if Francouz or Georgiev got hurt it would likely be Annunen getting called up as they'll want to give him some NHL experience whenever possible.

They signed JoJo in the off-season because they want a goalie with some NHL experience to backup Annunen. An Annunen-Miner tandem isn't ideal because they're both quite inexperienced and you're also only a couple of injuries away from having Miner dressing for NHL games.

It would suck to have to pay assets for a goalie though. Hopefully a better goalie appears on waivers so Arizona claim them and waive JoJo again so he can get back to the Avs. Or the Avs could just claim another goalie and hope.they pass through the second time (unlikely though).
