Gee, I hope he doesn't do it. Doesn't solve the cap problem. And the Leafs 8th and 9th Dmen...Dalstrom and Benn are out with injuries.

What about something along the lines of Kerfoot for Gawanke? Helps TO with their cap issues, adds a RHD who appears ready to make the jump and Peg gets help up front. Not sure what other chairs need to be moved on the deck to make it work but seems like a good base to start with.

Jets have too many dmen as it is, don't think Holl to Winnipeg is a fit.

Yeah TO's defence is a question mark especially with Muzzin's history of injuries and Sandin/Liljegren's inexperience. It looks like Kerfoot will be the casualty, and Jankork/Kampf being the second line centre until Tavares gets back. But Robertson on that left side is a real possibility given his strong pre season. I think Winnipeg will take Kerfoot for a third though

So long as leafs have ltir I'm not sure if anyone is moved out. Kerfoot seems the most logical if that time comes.

Yeah even if they sent someone down to have a 22 man roster they'd still be over by 2 mill. Looks like they have more depth at forward than defense, and Kerfoot has to be the guy.Unless he trades Jankork but he just signed him, so that wouldn't make any sense.
