Honestly I see them struggling at the start of the season. The loss of Cirelli is going to be tough. I honestly think Hagel and Killorn will continue to struggle to start the season and be horrendous offensively. I'm not sold on Phillipe Myers because he had a bad season with Philly and a bad season with Nashville. I don't think their regular season numbers are gonna be spectacular. Around 100-105 points which is good enough for 3rd in the Atlantic. They imo are gonna have to rely on Vasy a lot more.
Kucherov, Stamkos, Point, Cirelli, Killorn, Maroon, Hedman, Sergachev, Cernak, Vasy. Colton, and Perry have played a lot of hockey since Jan 2021. Has the shorter offseasons been too little time for injuries to heal up? At the end of the day I expect them to be one of the hotter teams in the second half. I expect Kuch to score at over a 100 point pace still and Stamkos to score at over 90 point pace. I do expect Killorn and Hagel to get things figured out offensively in the second half. Vasy still should be a Vezina canadiate. This team imo will still make a deep run. I have them making the conference finals (losing to the Canes in a tough series), but I could see them making the finals again and potentially face Colorado in a rematch. (That would be epic and it's one of the most possible Cup Final matches)
